The Stevanović family from Niš has had a plot of land purchased for them to build a house, according to a post on X by the organization Serbs for Serbs.
As they stated, KK Crvena Zvezda joined the humanitarian organization Serbs for Serbs in a campaign by donating money for the purchase of the land.
“I’m overjoyed. So much has changed in the last two months. I managed to get a job at the Niš heating plant, a large number of people have supported our family in various ways, and now we are one step away from fulfilling our dream,” said father Goran, who cares for his three children on his own.
The heroes of this story, son Viktor (13) and daughters Andreja (16) and Vasilija (9), will no longer live in a cramped 30-square-meter apartment on the fifth floor of a building without an elevator.

Иако је ова година донела велики број лепих вести, јер смо опет помогли више од 200 породица, дефинитивно је највише пажње изазвала наша кампања за породицу Стевановић. Зато ће сигурно многе… pic.twitter.com/etv1u0Clk5
As a reminder, Andreja has had 27 surgeries due to a lack of shinbone, and Viktor has difficulty walking due to a dislocated knee and reduced growth hormone secretion, which has made him the target of bullying.
“The value of the land purchase and notary services amounts to 6,161,295 dinars, which was specifically provided by KK Crvena Zvezda, while we will use the remaining donations for the construction and equipping of the house, which we will start as soon as we obtain the necessary permits. This action, due to the high cost of land in Niš, exceeds the value of the actions we have carried out so far, but their stay in Niš was necessary due to treatment and frequent therapies, as well as the school that Andreja attends,” stated the organization Serbs for Serbs.
