Serbian President Aleksandar Vučić announced that in September, the procedure for amending the Constitution of Serbia regarding the conduct of bailiffs in enforcement proceedings will be initiated. He added that changing the Constitution “opens up possibilities for other things as well.”
“We must amend the Constitution to limit enforcement so that you cannot evict a person from an apartment of 50, 60, or 70 square meters,” Aleksandar Vučić told Radio Television of Serbia.
He stated that as part of the previously announced measures to support citizens, the prices of the most important products for people and a portion of consumer basket items will be reduced.
“We want to legally regulate the maximum margin possibility; it is fair to use the market, but don’t let those people who belong to the lower class suffer because of it,” Vučić stated.
These measures will also include bank loans, which, he said, citizens will be able to obtain more cheaply and under conditions similar to those in Western countries.
“Everything will have to be more favorable, everything at lower interest rates if you want to operate in Serbia,” Vučić said.
