Serbian tennis player Hamad Međedović qualified for the quarter-finals of the tournament in Winston-Salem, after defeating Canadian Gabriel Diallo in two sets 6:4, 6:2 on the night between Wednesday and Thursday.

Međedović, the 65th tennis player in the world, defeated the 33rd player on the ATP list after one hour and 24 minutes.

The tennis player from Serbia won by breaking in the first game of the first set and with breaks in the third and fifth games of the second set.

In the quarter-finals, Međedović will play against Frenchman Giovanni Mpetshi Perricard.

Miomir Kecmanović also secured a place in the quarter-finals, as he was better than the Italian Luciano Darderi.

The Serb celebrated against the 34th racket in the world with the result 6:3, 6:1.

In the fight for a place in the semi-finals, Kecmanović will meet with Sebastian Korda, who defeated Kamil Majchrzak.
