In the settlement of Vinča last night, a gruesome incident occurred in which two teenagers, aged 16 and 18, were brutally beaten and urgently transferred to the Emergency Center in Belgrade with life-threatening injuries.

The drama in Vinča began around 9 p.m. when a mass brawl was reported to the police. However, the attackers managed to flee before the patrol arrived. Shortly thereafter, the injured young men sought medical assistance.

The older young man, M. M. (18), recounted that they were intercepted in a yard by three or four masked attackers who began to hit them mercilessly with bats. A little later, the 16-year-old also arrived at the hospital accompanied by his mother, having also sustained severe injuries in the same attack.

Doctors were left stunned by the degree of brutality to which the teenagers were exposed. Horrific injuries were confirmed for both – skull fractures and brain contusions. Due to the severity of their condition, they were immediately kept in the intensive care unit of the Emergency Center.

The police immediately launched a search for the perpetrators. According to unofficial information, it is suspected that the attackers fled the scene in a black “Citroën” automobile with Belgrade registration plates.

The Second Basic Public Prosecutor’s Office has been informed of everything, and work is underway to identify the attackers and determine the motive for this brutal ambush that has disturbed the residents of Vinča.
