In a quiet part of Zemun on Prigrevica Street, around 3 o’clock after midnight, a new explosion occurred when two bombs were thrown at a well-known gym.
According to initial and unofficial information, there were no injuries in this incident, but significant material damage was caused to the facility, Telegraf.rs reports.
Targeted for the second time
This is the second time in a very short period that the mentioned gym in Zemun has been the target of attackers.
We remind you that the first incident occurred on March 23, when an explosive device was also activated at the same location. At that time, the force of the detonation shattered the glass on the facility, and the interior was partially damaged. Several cars parked in the immediate vicinity were also damaged.
Members of the Ministry of Internal Affairs immediately went to the field and blocked off that part of the city.
Forensic experts and inspectors are on the scene collecting evidence.
The Higher Public Prosecutor’s Office in Belgrade, which is leading the investigation, has been informed of everything.
