Members of the Ministry of Internal Affairs in Belgrade, UKP, Department for Investigation of Explosions, Fires and Accidents, in cooperation with the UKP at the Ministry’s headquarters, the Directorate for Technology and the PU Požarevac, in coordination with the Higher Public Prosecutor’s Office in Belgrade, arrested S. B. (19), due to the existence of grounds for suspicion that he committed the criminal acts of illegal production, possession, carrying and trafficking of weapons and explosive substances and causing general danger, according to the MUP.
He is, as stated, suspected of activating and throwing a hand grenade at a gym facility in Zemun on March 23 of this year at around 3:25 a.m.
The suspect was detained for up to 48 hours, after which he will be brought to the Higher Public Prosecutor’s Office in Belgrade along with a criminal complaint.
