The representatives of Finland at this year’s Eurovision Song Contest, Linda Lampenius and Pete Parkkonen, are already followed by numerous scandals.
Namely, today they again refused to speak to Serbian media.
As a reminder, on the famous Turquoise Carpet held on Sunday, May 10, Serbian media tried to get a statement from Linda and Pete, but their media representatives stated that they “do not need promotion in Serbia.”
At the insistence of RTS journalists to still get an opportunity to at least speak with them briefly, they agreed to answer only two questions.
The answers were quite concise, and people from their delegation measured the time and signaled with their hands how many questions remained.
However, this was not a situation only with Serbian media. Journalists from Azerbaijan experienced a very similar, unpleasant situation with them.
Finnish woman performs for NATO troops in Kosovo
Scandals have been following the Finnish representatives for days, and one of the biggest that has flooded social networks is the information that the Finn Linda Lampenius performed for NATO troops in Kosovo.
According to available information that can be found on Wikipedia, that performance was part of her international career and numerous engagements. Linda performed for the US Naval Forces Europe and Africa (NATO Band), which is why she lost the sympathy of our people.
Also, after the first rehearsals, this duo was accused by the audience of being privileged compared to other performers. They were allowed to perform live music, specifically playing parts of a solo violin into the microphone.
On the other hand, the Swiss representative Veronica Fusaro was prevented from performing solo sections on the guitar live, writes Telegraf.
