General Ratko Mladić suffered a minor stroke and is now in a very difficult condition, his son Darko Mladić said today.

He told the Srna agency that it happened on Friday, April 10, and that he expects to receive documentation from the health service of the tribunal in The Hague to see exactly what happened.

“The general was transferred to the hospital, and then they returned him to the detention unit on the same day. Most likely, he had a minor stroke. They promised us they would send those documents. Apart from an oral conversation with a doctor, we haven’t received anything. We are waiting for them to send those findings, which they did on the same day, but we haven’t received anything yet,” stated Darko Mladić.
