Several hundred citizens today at 11:52, in front of the Serbian embassy in Ljubljana, paid their respects to those killed in the collapse of the canopy of the reconstructed railway station in Novi Sad.

The gathered people carry banners in both Serbian and Slovenian languages, among them “Go so that we can return” with a silhouette of Serbian President Aleksandar Vučić, “Soul on the wings of pain, Novi Sad, whose school was that”, “Wherever you go, the people have turned their backs on you”, as well as banners with a red hand with which the Serbian authorities are told “Your hands are bloody”.

In front of the embassy, the gathered drew 15 silhouettes that are drawn at crime scenes, on which roses were left.

Letters of support were also written to Serbian students, who are blocking faculties and rectorates in several cities in Serbia.
