At “Nikola Tesla” Airport in Belgrade last night around 11 p.m., four exit ramps in the parking lot were damaged after an unknown person disabled the card readers.

The readers were damaged by injecting expanding foam into the card slots, thereby preventing their functioning, Telegraf.rs claims. An airport employee informed the police, who soon arrived at the scene.

By reviewing the surveillance camera footage, it was determined that the driver of a “Seat Ibiza” car moved between the ramps and damaged the devices on each of them in the same way.

According to unofficial information, major material damage was caused, given that the damaged readers cannot be repaired after such damage.

The police conducted an investigation, and work on identifying and finding the suspect for this vandalism is ongoing. The investigation should determine all the circumstances of this incident.
