UNPRECEDENTED RESULT: A basketball game in BiH finished with a score of 139:0!

We have seen many strange and incredible results on basketball courts through the years, but for a team not to score a single point for the entire 40 minutes of play, we probably haven’t. But even that happened, and in none other than Bosnia and Herzegovina.

Namely, in a youth category match in women’s basketball, the Kozara team managed to defeat the ŽKK Real team with an absolutely unreal result – 139:0?

The match was played in Gradiška, and Kozara managed to score 34 points in the first period, then 48 points in the second, 28 points in the third, and 29 in the fourth quarter of the match. On the other side, Real did not score a single layup, free throw… Just – nothing!

This result caused a huge controversy in the neighborhood. Many were angry at Kozara for the fact that they did not “let off the gas” against a weak rival, while others took their side and said that it is all basketball and a competitive match and that it is logical that everyone wants to win as convincingly as possible.

This match was played as part of the Final Tournament for younger pioneers of the Basketball Federation of Republika Srpska.
