An Emergency Medical Service doctor confirmed to RTS that a pregnant woman was injured last night in Belgrade while walking after being struck by an electric scooter.

Dr. Ivan Leković, the chief on-duty surgeon at the Military Medical Academy, said that the pregnant woman was kept at the institution for further observation.

According to him, the pregnant woman was first examined by a gynecologist and was then treated for a concussion.

Emergency Medical Service teams carried out 103 interventions during the night, 18 of which were in public places. Most of the calls for assistance came from chronically ill patients and heart patients.
