In the attack by Russian military forces on Odesa, a total of 13 people were injured, the State Emergency Service announced, adding that large-scale fires are spreading in the city.
A four-story residential building burned to the ground in the attack.
“Rescuers saved three people, evacuated another six. During firefighting and rescue operations, objects collapsed on rescuers – three firefighters were injured, they are now in the hospital in stable condition,” the State Emergency Service noted.
Additionally, according to residents, it is possible that another person is in the building, and a search and rescue operation is underway.

Furthermore, a 23-story residential building was damaged, into whose upper floors a drone flew. Footage of the direct hit was published on Ukrainian television networks, Unian reports.
The fire engulfed the 18th, 19th, and 20th floors, and 600 people were evacuated from the building. Also, three people, including two children, were rescued from a blocked apartment. Fires also affected five more residential buildings and three cars.
Ukrainian Railways also announced that a railway station in Odesa was damaged as a result of a night drone attack.

“The contact network and the railway-sleeper network were damaged. Fortunately, there were no casualties,” the statement said.
“Despite the active work of air defense forces, damage was caused to civilian infrastructure, especially residential buildings, a higher education institution building, a gas pipeline, and private cars. In the city center, as a result of a drone attack, a high-rise building is burning,” wrote the head of the regional military administration (OVA) Oleg Kiperna on his Telegram channel.
According to Kiper’s words, the competent services are searching for the injured and working to eliminate the consequences of the attack, he added.

Odesa Mayor Gennadiy Trukhanov announced that several multi-story buildings, cars, and higher education institution buildings were damaged in the city center due to the Russian attack.
“A fire broke out on the coast as a result of a downed attack drone, and recreational facilities were damaged by the explosive wave. Information on the number of victims is arriving. Emergency services are working on the spot. The gas pipeline was damaged in another part of the city, and emergency services are working on the spot,” the report states.
According to reports, Kharkiv was also attacked by Russian drones. Late last night, explosions echoed in the city. Later, reports of damage and casualties were published. Local authorities reported three casualties, including two girls aged 12 and 17.
