The Federal Minister of Internal Affairs of BiH, Ramo Isak, stated that “all police forces are on the ground” today, as reported by N1.
“All agencies and institutions are doing their job. Police forces are on the ground, but there will be no interventions. There are no indications. Our agencies, aside from doing operational work, are collecting information from the field. Populists have tried to misrepresent some things, but the real picture is clear. Everyone in this country must respect the institutions of BiH. The state is supreme, and all of us are replaceable,” said Isak.
He also commented on the arrival of Hungarian police officers currently present in the Republic of Srpska.
“Foreign police officers are present across all of BiH, where foreign training is being conducted. Also, our police officers go to other countries around the world. Only someone wanted to cause insecurity among citizens. Respected citizens, 500 additional police officers can’t do anything. They can only help Dodik move furniture,” he stated.

“Currently, Hungarian police officers are here solely for training and exchange of experiences. Police officers from all over the world are in BiH for training. So, a larger number of police officers are from other countries. We have good cooperation with police agencies. The police officers are professionals, working in the interest of the state. No police officer should commit a criminal act. The police are here to protect citizens. Small incidents can always happen. You have a wedding with two families, and a problem arises, let alone in a country,” he added.
In conclusion, he stated that he believes all institutions have done a good job.
“I think all institutions have done a good job. I congratulate all the institutions. Yesterday, the residents of RS won, and I congratulate them. They won because the residents of Banja Luka did not support the gathering. The citizens of BiH responded appropriately, and so did the institutions. What was done yesterday, could rarely happen in any country. There was no issue. In any other country in this situation, things would have been much worse,” Isak said on Novi Dan.
