Members of the Ministry of Internal Affairs in Belgrade have resolved the kidnapping and brutal beating of a man, M. T. (37), who was abducted on March 24 and taken to an apartment where he was held captive for days.

Due to the suspicion that they committed this criminal offense, the police arrested S. M. (42) and A. M. (30) six days later. The suspects are a male and a female person.

As “Telegraf.rs” claims, the victim told the police that the suspects took him to the apartment against his will, where they kept him locked up and brutally beat him. A medical examination determined that he sustained serious head injuries.

Following intensive operational work, the police identified and detained the suspects.

By order of the Second Basic Public Prosecutor’s Office in Belgrade, they were ordered to be detained for up to 48 hours.

The police are determining the motives for the attack, as well as all the circumstances under which the man was lured or taken to the apartment, and whether the suspects and the victim were in a prior conflict.
