Serbia’s national team striker Dušan Vlahović shone brightly in the Champions League while wearing the Juventus jersey.
Moreover, he was the most instrumental in Juventus’s ability to overturn the result in the second round of the elite competition, even while playing with a man down.
Leipzig took the lead in the 30th minute with a stunning goal from Benjamin Šeško, but Juve started their comeback in the 50th minute.
Andrea Cambiaso found Vlahović for the first of two goals from the Serbian player. Dušan expertly and with great finesse chipped the ball over the goalkeeper with the tip of his left foot to make it 1:1.
Leipzig then regained the lead in the 65th minute through Benjamin Šeško from a softly awarded penalty for a handball.

To make matters worse for Juventus, their starting goalkeeper, Michele Di Gregorio, was sent off just five or six minutes earlier for handling the ball outside the penalty area.
In short, Juventus needed a miracle, and that miracle was once again called Vlahović. In the 68th minute, Dušan took the ball in Leipzig’s half and passed it to Francisco Conceição.
Conceição immediately played a pass forward to Dušan, who was already running forward, and after a few steps, Vlahović unleashed a powerful left-footed shot that found the top corner of the Leipzig goal.
Conceição then produced a moment of brilliance himself, dribbling past two German defenders before placing the ball into the net to make it 3:2 in the 82nd minute.
