Office for Cooperation with the Diaspora and Serbs in the Region of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of the Government of the Republic of Serbia has announced a Call for Proposals to co-finance projects that contribute to the preservation and strengthening of ties between the motherland and the diaspora in the USA.
Eligible to participate in the Competition are organizations registered in the USA, subject to fulfilling the competition conditions and submitting appropriate documentation.
Direct or indirect beneficiaries of budgetary funds, individuals, and business entities are not eligible to participate in the Competition.
The subject of the competition is the co-financing of projects aimed at the use, learning, preservation, and nurturing of the Serbian language and the Cyrillic alphabet, as well as the preservation and nurturing of Serbian cultural, ethnic, and religious identity.
The competition includes projects aimed at supporting the organization of Serbian language and culture schools, which contribute to the preservation of the Serbian cultural and linguistic identity of children and youth in the USA – schools.
Applications for the Competition via the Web platform will be open until November 20, 2024, at 3:30 PM local time.
