Ljiljana Krasić won the gold medal at the World Masters Mountain Running Championship in Meduno, Italy, in the long distance discipline, 34 km with a 1850-meter ascent, in the 50–54 age category, the Mountaineering Association of Serbia announced.
Also, the member of PSK “Mosor” from Niš took second place in the general classification among 96 competitors.

Ljiljana Krasić has been one of the best mountain runners in Serbia for years. This season, she won the National Series in Mountain Running PSS, for the fourth time in a row. This feat represents the culmination of her career and a huge success for Serbian mountain running.
The Masters World Championship gathers the best runners older than 35, and the rankings are calculated by age categories in five-year increments.
