For Minnesota, Julius Randle had 26 points, 9 rebounds, and 5 assists, but neither he nor Edwards received any help from their teammates.

Even in the first game of the season, Dončić was brilliant, but his 43 points, 12 rebounds, and 9 assists in the duel with Golden State were not enough to secure a victory.
