The first President of the Republic of Srpska, Radovan Karadžić, who is serving his prison sentence under inhumane conditions in the United Kingdom, has been suffering from terrible pain for three days, frequently slipping into semi-conscious and unconscious states, his daughter Sonja Karadžić Jovičević told Srna. She warned that this is yet another deliberate attempt on his life.
“The administration and medical staff of HMP Albany prison refuse to help him or at least replace a catheter that was inserted three months ago. After frequent blockages, it has now completely stopped functioning for days,” Karadžić Jovičević stated.
She emphasized that Karadžić is once again experiencing poisoning, not due to neglect, but deliberate intent—to bring him into a state of irreversible loss of consciousness and inability to communicate with his legal team and family, a state from which he cannot recover.
“We are once again facing an open attempt at murder,” she stressed.

Karadžić is currently imprisoned at HMP Albany on the Isle of Wight, where he is serving a life sentence following his conviction by the Hague Tribunal.
This prison has a reputation as one of the worst detention facilities in the UK and does not meet numerous standards required in most European countries.
Karadžić’s daughter Sonja has previously raised concerns multiple times about the harsh conditions her father is subjected to, as well as his deteriorating health, due to denied medical examinations and lack of proper treatment.
