Donald Trump said at the premiere of the documentary film “Melania”, which focuses on his wife, that she has become “more open” during his second term, which began in January last year.
The film, produced by Amazon MGM Studios and directed by Brett Ratner, follows the life of the First Lady ahead of Donald Trump’s 2025 inauguration, from her home in Trump Tower in New York to the Mar-a-Lago estate in Palm Beach, and captures behind-the-scenes moments at the White House, Fox News reported today.
The documentary, which premiered on Thursday evening, is the debut project of the First Lady’s new film production company, Muse Films.
Ahead of the premiere, held at the Trump Kennedy Center in Washington, President Trump said that the First Lady is more open during this term.
“And I’ve noticed that. She’s more open. That comes with time. She’s done a fantastic job. She’s very popular, a very respected person,” Donald Trump said.
Melania Trump told Fox Digital that she is “very selective about what I do and when I speak.”
“That is my choice, and I am mission- and action-oriented, and we had a very successful first year in my Office of the First Lady, and I am proud of what we have accomplished,” Melania Trump said.
The documentary “Melania” focuses on the work of the First Lady, her philanthropic efforts, and her family life as she prepared to become America’s First Lady for the second time, and its theatrical release worldwide begins today.
