Srpska lista announced that the independent media commission in Priština has once again banned the broadcast of that list’s pre-election advert. They state that media outlets broadcasting the advert are being threatened with fines and license revocation.
According to the Srpska lista statement, the independent media commission this time also banned media from broadcasting Srpska lista’s pre-election advert because, in their view, “the use of the words ‘how to tolerate terror’ and ‘let us re-establish freedom’ constitutes a violation of the constitutional order of Kosovo.”
Igor Simić from Srpska lista assessed that this is another form of pressure being carried out against that political entity.
“All with the aim of discouraging us from winning the elections on October 12 and bringing that victory to the Serbian people and re-liberating the municipalities in the north,” Igor Simić said, among other things.
