The President of the Liberal Democratic Party (LDP), Čedomir Jovanović, announced via social networks that he finished his conversation with police inspectors last night, to which he was invited after presenting several details on TV Tanjug about the incidents at the protest on March 15, including that there were 200 armed people in the Belgrade City Assembly brought by handball player Vladimir Mandić.
“Good morning, it’s dawn. Greetings from Belgrade Airport. I want to tell you that I finished my conversation last night with the inspectors of the internal control service of the Serbian Ministry of Internal Affairs. I am grateful to them for their very responsible and professional attitude and willingness to take a full statement from me that clarifies all the circumstances I spoke about during yesterday’s interview on TV Tanjug,” Čedomir Jovanović pointed out on the social network Instagram.
Jovanović then spoke about March 15, when students in blockade held a protest that went down in the history of the Serbian people.

“I admire the people who came to our city that day, I admire those who waited, I am infinitely grateful to the police who protected us and thus made us, our country and all of us, the avant-garde of the crazy world we live in today, making Belgrade the only point on the planet where it was possible to gather so many people without a single incident, all the way up to that 11th minute of silence when those who wish them harm attacked not only the citizens but the entire country,” Jovanović said.
He emphasized that he hopes that the President of Serbia, Aleksandar Vučić, has understood that with the attack on March 15, he himself was also attacked.
“I hope that Vučić understands that they attacked him too, and that the answers the state has been giving since then are not the ones we need, that no one has escaped the truth, but that we are not people who are afraid of the truth either, but this is our need and we are fighting for it. Tell the prosecutor that I am returning tonight and that I am ready to talk to him as early as tomorrow. It doesn’t cross my mind to remain silent about everything I know because my family, friends, and a generation of children live in this city, to whom we owe it to fight for a better world than the one we lived in, for the world we dreamed of when we were students like them. Vučić, be the president of all of us and don’t ask us to be part of Ćacilend. I can only say what I have said many times: I love Serbia and I speak the truth,” Jovanović said.
As a reminder, the President of the Liberal Democratic Party (LDP), Čedomir Jovanović, was called to the police after presenting several details today in the Tanjug TV studio about the incidents at the protest on March 15, including that there were 200 armed people in the Belgrade City Assembly brought by handball player Vladimir Mandić.
However, Jovanović did not receive an invitation to testify about his knowledge presented on the show regarding the incidents involving armed thugs in front of Pionirski Park and the Faculty of Law, as well as the use of the sound cannon.
The LDP leader received an SMS message inviting him from the Internal Control Sector of the Ministry of Internal Affairs to come in “for a conversation” only regarding his appearance on TV Tanjug.
