Belgrade resident Miloš Petrović, whose polling station was changed from New Belgrade to Banja Luka without his knowledge or consent, traveled to Republika Srpska today and cast his vote there.

He set off for Banja Luka after the relevant institutions failed to correct the voter register despite his request.

Petrović told FoNet that he had connected with several other citizens who had encountered the same problem, so they traveled to Banja Luka together and voted at polling station number 13.

According to him, there were no major queues at the polling station, and the journey went smoothly.

Petrović had previously stated that all legal deadlines for correcting the information he had challenged had expired and that there were grounds for a lawsuit.

He said that the records of several other citizens who had filed complaints over similar changes to their polling stations had also not been corrected.

Petrović explained that he checked the voter register every four to five days because the same situation had occurred before the 2023 elections. At that time, he and four other citizens filed a criminal complaint against unknown persons over suspected electoral fraud.

“Suddenly, I saw that my polling location had been changed from my usual polling station in New Belgrade to Banja Luka. I immediately knew that someone had submitted a request on my behalf,” Petrović said.
