Mega continues its tradition of sending players to the strongest league in the world (NBA), and the new name on that list is Pavle Bačko.
The talented eighteen-year-old center has officially registered for this year’s NBA draft, which will be held in Brooklyn at the end of June.
Bačko dominated in the junior competition this season, where he led Mega to the title in the regional ABA league along with the award for the most valuable player of the tournament.
At the same time, he gained senior experience playing for OKK Belgrade in the domestic championship, where he recorded over 12 points and four rebounds per game.
Scouts from America have been following him since last year’s World Championship for players under 18, and experts estimate that due to his age and potential, he could most likely be selected in the second round of the draft.
Mega has once again proven to be the perfect station for young basketball players who want to set off for the NBA league as soon as possible.
