In this Holy Week, as we prepare for Easter with calmness and hope, we open our hearts to those who need our help the most. The humanitarian organization “28. Jun” is launching a major Easter campaign to help the St. Petka Monastery near Paraćin, a place that has been a sanctuary and home for children with special needs for decades.

Since 2014, this monastery has been one of the organization’s most reliable partners, and generations of volunteers have seen for themselves the superhuman efforts, love, and selfless care that the sisters provide to these children every day.

The sisters have dedicated their lives to caring for these children, providing them not only with a home, but also with love, dignity, and hope. This year, the home is being renovated. The Easter campaign of the humanitarian organization “28. Jun” aims to provide these children with more beautiful and dignified living conditions—from spaces for rest and joy to air conditioning units that will make the long summer days easier for them, as well as everything else they need.

Together, in the spirit of Easter, we can do much. What is a little to us means everything to someone.
