The club of Serbian immigrants FC Dinara from Indiana defeated the team “Albanian Stars” 6:3 today in the 9th round of the European League Chicago.
The final result does not reflect the situation on the field, as a fierce battle was fought until the very end, when the Albanians even pulled their goalkeeper in an attempt to equalize at 4:3, but our boys held on and ultimately secured a convincing victory.
The match took place in a fair and sporting atmosphere without provocations, and with this win Dinara moved to first place in the Europa Soccer League Chicago with a record of 8:1.
And in roughly 20 seconds, all the magic happened… An excellent breakthrough and a one-two by Taras and Vlado Zadro, a major reinforcement for Dinara, then a battle for the ball, no surrender, another one-two and – goal!
All the qualities this team possesses came to the fore in a single attack: technical superiority, fight and persistence until the last breath. “Albanian Stars” could not match such play until the end of the match…
On we go, boys, toward defending the title!
