At the 55th International Physics Olympiad (IPhO) in Paris, the Serbian team achieved exceptional success by winning two silver medals and two honorable mentions.
The Olympiad was held from July 18 to 24, 2025, and more than 440 competitors from over 90 countries participated.
Andrej Drobnjaković and Janko Popović, students of the Mathematical High School in Belgrade, won the silver medals.

Nikola Nešović, a student of the First Kragujevac High School in Kragujevac, and Dušan Lazić, a student of the High School in Kraljevo, received honorable mentions.
Veljko Adžić, a student of the Computer Science High School in Belgrade, also participated in the competition.

The students prepared for the competition as part of intensive preparations organized by the Serbian Physical Society, which were carried out at the Institute of Physics in Belgrade.
The team leaders were Dr. Imre Gut, full professor at the Faculty of Sciences, University of Novi Sad, and Dr. Vladimir Marković, associate professor at the Faculty of Sciences, University of Kragujevac.
