Kasija Bojanić, a young philosopher and international relations enthusiast, is temporarily staying in Serbia, specifically in Novi Pazar, where she has been doing an internship at the OSCE training center for six months. Although her parents are from Belgrade, her life took her to Madrid as a baby, where she still has her permanent residence.
However, she says she always returns to Serbia because she has never felt lonely there.
“What impressed me the most is the kindness of people. Everyone is willing to help,” Bojanić highlights.
Despite growing up in Spain, she speaks Serbian fluently, and her father also taught her Cyrillic. She has been in Serbia for six months and has traveled across much of the country, but she says that Novi Pazar is her favorite place.

“I am amazed by the people. People in Belgrade are nice too, but it’s a big city. I like that everything is close here, the mountains are nearby, and I already have friends and everything I need,” says Kasija.
Comparing the two countries, she explains that she appreciates Spain for its healthier lifestyle, while in Serbia, she loves the nature and food.
