The Cameo Short Film Festival, which has been gathering young authors, students, and film lovers from the region for five years, has launched a fundraising campaign to purchase a projector intended for free screenings and cultural events.

By realizing this idea, they would gain a significant amount of independence in their activities and significantly expand the possibilities of their work. On the other hand, all participants in the realization of the campaign, or other associations of a similar profile, would get the opportunity to use the projector for their own needs.

We believe that with this approach and ideas, we influence the involvement of the local community, encourage the inclusion of new actors on the cultural scene, and contribute to the awakening and development of the cultural needs of young people.

You can show your support in realizing this idea through the donation platform at LINK HERE.

The Cameo Festival was founded by students with the idea of establishing regional cooperation, developing cultural life in the city, and decentralizing cultural activities. It is focused on the affirmation of young authors in the fields of film, music, fine arts, and multimedia arts, and the promotion of amateurism and an informal approach to film art. In addition to the festival, a cinema club began its work, which nurtures the social engagement of young people through cooperation with cultural institutions.

The primary role of the festival is to screen short student films from the region, of all genres and categories. Within the program of this event, 4 exhibitions, a VR cinema of an international character, and several experimental and documentary film workshops have been successfully realized so far, and more than 150 films have been shown, accompanied by Q&As with students and amateur authors as well as masterclasses with professional creators, along with several guest programs at other festivals and cultural institutions in the country.

We believe that such content should not be exclusive, but accessible to everyone, which is why the entire program of the festival is free.
