Ten-year-old boy Vuk D. was admitted last night to the neurosurgery shock unit “B” of the Emergency Center with a skull fracture and severe injuries sustained in an accident in Višnjička Street in Palilula.
According to known information, the car driver Željko L. (51) was breathalyzed and was not under the influence of alcohol.
Unofficially, a criminal complaint was filed against him, which will go through regular procedure.

The investigation is being conducted by the First Basic Public Prosecutor’s Office in Belgrade.
As it is learned, the little boy was crossing the street last night around 8 pm near the “Predrag Peca Nikolić” stadium at a pedestrian crossing when he was hit by the driver of an “Opel Vectra” car.
Vuk was admitted to the hospital in serious condition.
