In Kula, in front of the tavern “Kod Ćira,” two men were detained, and one of them accused the police officers during the arrest of breaking his arm during the intervention because, as he says, he was defending his son.
“You broke my arm and I will sue you…. He broke my arm. I cannot move my arm at all, completely innocent, I was only defending my son whom they attacked violently,” the man shouts while being led into the police van. Beside him, another younger man was also detained.

This arrest was preceded by one of the disturbing videos of violence from the streets of the Vojvodina municipality of Kula, where local elections are being held today.
Namely, the video shows several police officers strangling the aforementioned citizen, who was later detained, in front of the “Kod Ćira” tavern.

Since that tavern was a gathering place for supporters of the ruling coalition and it was suspected that pressure was being exerted on voters from there, a group of citizens of Kula gathered in front of the entrance and would not let them leave the facility. This was followed by a very violent police intervention.
