A philosophy student from Novi Sad, identified as Teodora, has been released from custody, and today’s court hearing has been postponed.
“I was deprived of my freedom last night; the questioning was relatively fair. Why I was detained, I don’t even specifically know myself, maybe only because my mom prefers Andrej. I remind you, out of our 12 comrades, six are under house arrest, and the other six are in exile,” said the released student, Teodora.
She stated that today’s hearing was postponed, and that she is accused of “disturbing public order and peace and the tranquility of citizens,” N1 reports.
“If citizens have had peace and tranquility since 2012, I was not aware of it,” Teodora remarked.
Teodora was met by students and professors from the Faculty of Philosophy, as well as citizens, who greeted her with applause.
