VUČIĆ ANNOUNCED THE END OF BLOCKADES AND PROTESTS: “They will try to do something by force, and then we will play them the end!”

The President of Serbia, Aleksandar Vučić, stated today that as things stand, next Saturday, when a large protest is announced in Belgrade, the opposition will try to do something by force and said that then, as he said, they will be played the end.

“They know they don’t have much time left, so they will have to bet everything on one card. Unfortunately, they will try to do something by force and then they will realize that it’s the end for them. Many who commit criminal acts will end up behind bars, the others will realize that they were lied to by these politicians who promised them that something can be done by force, and that’s it. So, as things stand, we will play them the end on Saturday evening,” Vučić said in Alibunar in a conversation with citizens during a tour of the Inclusive-Educational Center.

He emphasized that he had survived a lot, but not that someone, as happened last night in Pioneer Park in Belgrade, would attack children just because they want to learn.

To a journalist’s comment that the opposition is calling everyone to come to that big protest and the question of how to prevent violence, Vučić replied that they don’t have to call anyone since, as he said, they are all coming.

“They are all coming, from these businessmen, tycoons, these multi-millionaires, various ones. And how to prevent violence? You can’t prevent violence when someone wants violence. If someone wants to hit you, you can’t prevent it. You can punish the one who did it. You can arrest him and punish him, and prevent him from committing further violence. But people who are determined to commit violence, you can’t prevent them,” Vučić said.

He emphasized that the state has shown four months of democratic capacity and tolerance, as well as patience, so that no one in the world can say anything.

“They carried knives, electroshockers, smoke bombs, stun bombs, again knives, there is nothing they didn’t do. They attacked women, beat them as much as they could. They attacked children last night aged 18, 19, 20 in Pioneer Park. Apparently, no one who thinks differently from them is allowed to appear at any point, because the plenums have apparently decided that only they are allowed to exist on planet Earth, so that’s it,” Vučić said.

To a journalist’s question of how long people will be hostages to these circumstances, Vučić repeated that next Saturday will be the end.

“I’m telling you, they know their time is running out, they know they have resold everything around N1 and SBB and everything else. They are in a hurry, so I expect them to fully apply their violence on Saturday and then that’s the end,” Vučić said, Tanjug reports.
