At the Iranian Geometry Olympiad, a team of students from Serbia won three silver and three bronze medals.
This international competition saw Serbia participating for the third time, alongside more than 8,000 students from 60 countries worldwide. Students solved problems in their home countries under the supervision of mentors, and the best works in each category were sent to the organizers in Iran.
Participants were divided into three categories: elementary (7th and 8th grade), intermediate (1st and 2nd year of high school), and advanced (3rd and 4th year of high school).
The leader of the Serbian team was Dr. Miljan Knežević, an assistant professor at the Faculty of Mathematics in Belgrade.
