Serbian Darko Rajakovic has become the first European to achieve a victory as a head coach leading an NBA team. The man from Cacak, with his Toronto Raptors, defeated Cleveland on the home court with a score of 126-104, thereby reducing the series lead to 2:1.
The game was uncertain for a full three and a half quarters until the hosts made a 38-16 run in the last 7 minutes to break the match.
The best in the winning team, which had five players with double-digit performances, were Barnes (11ast, 5reb) and Barrett (5ast, 5reb) with 33 points each, while Murray-Boyles with 22 (8reb) was also excellent, as was Ingram with 12, whom Rajakovic brought back to life as a player after much wandering through various NBA teams.
For the Cavaliers, the best were Harden with 18 (4ast, 4reb), and Mobley, Mitchell, and Strus with 15 points each.
The next game is played in Toronto the day after tomorrow, and it will be an opportunity for the Raptors to tie the series.
