A part of Užice around the city center will experience a temporary power outage today from 8:30 AM to 6:30 PM, due to planned works on the reconstruction of the distribution electricity network, the local portal Oglasna tabla announced.

Consumers in Dimitrija Tucovića (from number 91 to number 101), Vukole Dabića (from number 1 to number 9), Dečanska (around number 9), Obilićeva (around number 6), Dimitrija Tucovića 52 (i.e., the City Hall), as well as near the Zlatibor Block Boiler Room (Dimitrija Tucovića 93) will be without electricity.

Elektrodistribucija appeals to citizens to secure all necessary conditions for normal functioning during the outage period and thanks them for their understanding and patience.

In case of unfavorable weather conditions, the works may be postponed, the announcement adds.

A large protest, “Serbia, Užice Calls You,” is scheduled for today at 4 PM in the center of Užice, and the organizers have stated that the main gathering points are at the City Square, in front of the municipality building, near the museum, and by the fire station.
