The Faculty of Economics under blockade announced on Instagram that an incident occurred on Friday evening when an unidentified man entered the building’s lobby, attacked security personnel, and threw objects at them.
“In the evening hours of 04.04, an incident occurred at the Faculty of Economics of the University of Belgrade when a citizen of unknown identity, who is not a student of our institution, entered the building’s lobby and attempted to provoke a reaction from our students by attacking the security guards and throwing objects in their direction.
Our students reacted with a cool head, asking him to leave the premises, which we are safeguarding together with the doorman employed at the Faculty of Economics.
We appeal to colleagues at other faculties to tighten security measures at all entrances of their institutions.
