Barcelona basketball players crushed Manresa with 97:60 in the 20th round of the Spanish ACB league, and Nikola Kusturica (16) shined on the court.
The young Serbian basketball player scored seven points along with six rebounds in just under 16 minutes on the court, thus becoming the youngest scorer in Barcelona’s history in the Spanish championship.
“I really feel great, but the most important thing is that we celebrated. We didn’t open the match in the best way, but we raised the level of play from minute to minute. I’m glad about the baskets, but a team victory is still more important,” Kusturica stated for the Spanish “Sport”.

Although he already has experience at the senior level, he was not entirely indifferent.
“It is normal that there is a bit of nervousness when you enter the game, but I work every day to get this chance. That is why there is no room for anxiety – you just go out and play like in every training session,” said the Serbian gem.
The coach trusts him, and he will likely get opportunities in the remainder of the season as well.

“I notice the trust that Xavi Pascual has in me, I am always ready to help,” Kusturica underlined.
Last summer, Kusturica won gold at the European Championship with the Serbian cadet national team (u16), and we might see him at the EuroLeague level soon.
