The commemoration for the legendary Halid Bešlić was held today at 11 a.m. in the National Theatre Sarajevo, followed by the dženaza (funeral prayer) at the Gazi Husrev-bey Mosque and the burial at Bare.
LED screens were set up in Susan Sontag Theatre Square, through which citizens who could not enter the National Theatre were able to follow the commemoration.
Due to the funeral, some public transport lines in Sarajevo have also been altered.
Dino Merlin also addressed the crowd at the commemoration. His emotional speech brought almost everyone present in the hall to tears, and he recalled one of the last moments he spent with Halid Bešlić.
A large number of citizens followed the commemoration.

Politician Čedomir Jovanović also attended the commemoration.
Let us remember, Halid Bešlić passed away on October 7, after a severe illness.
