V. I. (23) was admitted to the Military Medical Academy on Wednesday with severe, life-threatening bodily injuries following a brutal incident that occurred in Podujevska Street in Zvezdara.
According to initial information, the incident occurred when the young man noticed a physical conflict between two people. Intending to prevent further escalation of violence, V. I. stood between them in an attempt to separate them, claims “Telegraf.rs.”.
Allegedly, as this media outlet claims, one of the participants in the fight caught up with V.I. and dealt him multiple punches in the area of the head and body.
The young man was transported to the hospital where doctors confirmed multiple injuries – fractures of the upper and lower jaw, a broken nose, and bleeding in the brain.
As “Telegraf” claims, the police are working on identifying the attacker.
