REPUBLICANS FOR NATIONAL RENEWAL SUPPORT DODIK: The EU has once again shown disrespect for democracy!

The political group “Republicans for National Renewal” announced today on its social media that the President of Republika Srpska, Milorad Dodik, has been sentenced to one year in prison and a six-year ban on political activity.

They emphasized that his “crime” was opposing EU envoy Christian Schmidt and that the European Union has once again demonstrated its disregard for democracy.

In the statement, the group expressed solidarity with Dodik, considering his sentence to be politically motivated and an attack on the sovereignty of Republika Srpska.
