Dijana Hrka, the mother of Stefan who died in the canopy collapse, continued her hunger strike in Takovska Street, to the right of the Parliament building. She is accompanied by citizens who are providing her with support. The police are still securing Ćacilend, and during the moment of silence at 11:52, shouts of “Aco Srbine” were heard from the tent settlement.
After the transporter Milomir Jaćimović, who brought students from Novi Sad, was told to park his bus near the Fifth Belgrade Gymnasium, he was, after doing so, taken to what was said to be the Rakovica police station.
Jaćimović drove the bus to the Fifth Belgrade Gymnasium as instructed by the police, but he was detained immediately after leaving the bus in front of the school.
As soon as the bus arrived in front of the Fifth Gymnasium, tensions flared. Namely, the police surrounded Jaćimović as soon as he exited the bus.
Citizens protested the entire time, shouting “release Jaćim,” “he’s not going anywhere.”
Citizens refused to allow Jaćimović to be taken away and claimed that the police had abducted him.
