One of the most intriguing voices of the domestic alternative scene, Novak Lukovac, frontman of the former Sextasy, returns after a long musical exile with a new solo project, NOVAK, and an explosive album “Pisma iz izgnanstva” (Letters from Exile) which will be released on March 15th on all digital music platforms!
The album is an energetic blend of raw guitar riffs, powerful lyrics, and a dark atmosphere. It depicts the struggle of an individual in a world of injustice and dishonor and the escape into lost worlds of fantasy and monumental past.

After half a decade since the band Sextasy went on hiatus, NOVAK tries to establish himself as one of the most conceptually original authors of the regional rock-metal scene.
Letters from Exile are inspired by historical upheavals, philosophical questions, and personal struggles. The music combines elements of rock, metal, and alternative sound with influences from Balkan and world music.
In addition to the primal tones that leave you breathless, the album also stands out for its strong visual identity. Original AI videos, dark illustrations, and a symbolic album cover further emphasize the ambivalent atmosphere that characterizes each of the tracks.
The first single, “USTANAK” (Uprising), is dedicated to the current protests in Serbia and conveys a strong message of resistance and the fight for justice. Short teasers of the music and lyrics published on the authors’ profiles have already aroused great interest.
The second single, “Zlo” (Evil), explores the darkest corners of the human soul and tries to uncover the context of evil against the backdrop of society in Serbia, which is shown in the video announced for March 21st.
