The Minister for Public Investments and the President of the SNS Executive Board, Darko Glišić, suddenly felt ill this morning while he was a guest on TV Pink’s Morning Program. Minister of Health Zlatibor Lončar confirmed that it was a stroke and that Minister Glišić is in a serious condition.
Darko Glišić could not finish his guest appearance, so the program was interrupted, and the minister was transferred to the Emergency Center.

“He felt ill on a TV show, he was brought (to the Emergency Center) unconscious, diagnostics are underway, therapy has also been included… What is known for now is that he is in a serious condition. It is important that he arrived on time from the event, i.e., from the stroke, the first few hours are crucial,” Lončar told TV Informer and noted that Serbian President Aleksandar Vučić has been with him from the first minute.

Vučić sent a message of support to Glišić. “Dare, hang in there! No surrender,” Vučić wrote on Instagram.
Darko Glišić was born on May 28, 1973, in Ub, where he finished primary school, and in Belgrade, he finished the Secondary Geodetic School. He obtained the title of geodesy engineer upon completion of the Higher Civil Engineering and Geodetic School in Belgrade.
He served as the President of the Ub Municipal Assembly from 2005 to 2006.
He was a member of the Serbian Parliament for two terms, from 2003 to 2008.
He served as the President of the Municipality of Ub from 2012 to 2024.
From May 2024 to April 2025, he served as the Minister for Public Investments, and he was elected to the same position after the formation of Prime Minister Đura Macut’s government.
He has been in the Serbian Progressive Party since its founding, and he was elected to the position of President of the party’s Executive Board at the party’s Assembly in 2016.
