A total of 48 were made, Golden State hit 27, and Dallas 21. However, let’s go back to what Luka Dončić showed. He showed that when he’s feeling it on the basketball court, few can stop him, if anyone at all. He scored 45 points with 11 rebounds and 13 assists. He hit 16 of 23 field goal attempts for a season-high in points, including six three-pointers. If that wasn’t enough, he also had three steals and two blocks. And here’s how he did it, at one point he scored a basket with his back to the hoop. It was a layup, but it was still spectacular.

Klay Thompson, against his former team with which he won four titles, scored 29 points, while Kyrie Irving added 21. Anthony Wiggins scored 29 points, Steph Curry had 26 points and 10 assists, and Draymond Green counted up to 21. Dončić has now made NBA history as, at just 25 years old, he became the fourth player with the most 40+ point triple-doubles in history. He has done this nine times, and only Russell Westbrook (13), James Harden (16), and Oscar Robertson (22) have more double-digit numbers.
