Belgrade police today arrested M.A. (37) on suspicion of murdering her mother on Monday, Interior Minister Ivica Dačić announced.
According to the statement, the mother (74) was found dead in her apartment in Aleksinačkih rudara Street, with an injury to her forehead, where part of her hair and skin were missing, with traces of blood on the wall.
“The daughter herself reported the incident to the police, and based on the traces found at the crime scene, it was determined that there is reasonable suspicion that she is the perpetrator, so a criminal complaint for aggravated murder will be filed against her,” Dačić said.
