Three people were killed and two others sustained serious injuries in a traffic accident that occurred around 12:50 a.m. in New Belgrade, on Boulevard of the Heroes from Košare, near the West Tower.
Media outlets reported that a mother, father, and their 10-year-old child died at the scene.
An eyewitness to the accident said that the driver of the Audi ran a red light and crashed directly into the car carrying the family, who died instantly from the injuries sustained in the collision.
According to media reports, the Audi driver was under the influence of alcohol.
