The former football player and president of Red Star, Dobrivoje Tanasijević – Dan Tana, was buried today at the New Cemetery in Belgrade.

Tanasijević passed away three days ago at the age of 90. The funeral was attended by, among others, the Deputy Prime Minister of Serbia and Minister of Internal Affairs, Ivica Dačić, the President of the Belgrade City Assembly, Nikola Nikodijević, the Serbian coach, Dragan Stojković, the President of the FSS, Dragan Džajić, the General Secretary of the FSS, Branko Radujko, the President of Red Star, Svetozar Mijailović, the General Director of the “red-whites”, Zvezdan Terzić, the sports director of Red Star, Mitar Mrkela, the technical director of the Serbian champion, Marko Marin, the head of the Belgrade FA, Nikola Lazetić, and the director, Lordan Zafranović.

Earlier today, a commemoration for Tanasijević was held at the “Rajko Mitić” stadium in the presence of family, friends, leaders of Red Star, the Football Association of Serbia (FSS), and numerous legends.
