The Faculty of Civil Engineering at the University of Belgrade has released a statement indicating that, after a preliminary analysis of the available documentation published on the Government of the Republic of Serbia’s website, it has been determined that crucial documentation regarding the reconstruction of Novi Sad Railway Station is missing.
The full statement from the Faculty of Civil Engineering reads:
“In order to inform the public, the Faculty of Civil Engineering has conducted a preliminary analysis of the available documentation published on the Government of the Republic of Serbia’s website (as of December 19, 2024). We believe that at least the following key documentation is currently missing:

Project Documentation:
– Concept design (all architectural and structural volumes related to the “Novi Sad” station building)
– Building permit project (all architectural and structural volumes related to the “Novi Sad” station building)
– Construction project (all architectural and structural volumes related to the “Novi Sad” station building)
– As-built project (all architectural and structural volumes related to the “Novi Sad” station building) or Annex 7 – Statement of the Investor, Contractor, and Expert Supervision that the works were carried out in accordance with the Construction Project
Contractual Documentation:
– All contracts and contract addendums with subcontractors
Construction Site Documentation:
– Records of commencement of work
– Construction diaries of all trades
– Construction book and temporary and final situations (if any)
– Inspection book and
– Test and technical documentation
– Geodetic survey of the facade substructure
– Statement of completion of foundations and
– Statement of completion of the structure
